Individually we practice athletics, highlighting the values of self-improvement, effort and perseverance. We have an active participation in regional and local tournaments and matches, as well as internal interhouses competitions. In all of them we promote teamwork and love of sport, while nurturing and developing each student\u2019s physical abilities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every year we make tours with 2do A\u00f1o in Secondary, and once every 2 years we travel internationally with our Open teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our objectives are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enjoy physical activity and the outdoors avoiding sedentarism<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop basic motor skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Foster the development of self-esteem, and each student\u2019s potential<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encourage every student to participate in sports competitions, internal and with other schools<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promote teamwork, commitment and a competitive spirit through sports practice, respecting fair play<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Physical Education at Villa Devoto School is a pillar of our children\u2019s education that allows us to develop and foster values that will accompany them throughout their lives: respect, fair play, commitment and dedication, among others.
